Redesigned Authentication & Social Connections

Lucidya's authentication model has been rebuilt from the ground up. Authentication is now account-scoped, tied directly to the data source account (e.g., Facebook Page, Instagram Business) rather than individual users, so any authorized team member can manage it without disruption.
What's New
-
Social Connections: The Authentication tab is now a unified hub displaying all connected accounts grouped by data source, with a side drawer showing status, expiry details, and a full activity log.
-
In-Context Authentication: Adding accounts during monitor creation, channel setup, or OmniServe configuration now happens inside a pop-up. Users are never redirected away and no inputs are lost.
Here's what fundamentally changed under the hood:
-
Account-scoped authentication: Connections are no longer tied to a specific user or company-level settings. Any authorized team member can authenticate or re-authenticate the same account.
-
Independent Facebook & Instagram authentication: Both platforms now authenticate separately. An expired or broken Facebook connection will never impact your Instagram account and vice versa.
-
Proactive expiry alerts: The system notifies you before a token expires, so your team can act early and avoid any interruption to monitors or channels.
-
Automatic recovery after re-authentication: Once re-authenticated, all paused monitors, channels, and hashtags resume data collection on their own. No manual steps, no missed data.
-
Simplified Data Sources UI: Settings → Data Sources now shows clear status indicators and expiry dates for every connected account, so connection health is always visible at a glance.
Available under account settings in Social Connections, and inline across:
- Social Listening → Create Monitor
- Managed Channels → Add Channel
- OmniServe → Inbox Configs → Connections
